North Florida College holds two graduation ceremonies each year, one in May and one in December. Both graduation ceremonies are held at the Van H. Priest Auditorium on the campus of NFC.

Candidates for graduation may apply in writing. Graduation applications are available in the Graduation Office or on this webpage. If a student meets all requirements for graduation and does not apply for graduation, NFC will award the certificate or degree and notify the student. We highly recommend students meet with an academic advisor or the graduation specialist prior to applying for graduation.

Some short programs, such as college credit certificates or vocational certificates may not be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony. See graduation office will questions related to participation eligibility.

Candidates wear NFC graduation regalia in the graduation ceremonies.

Regalia is as follows:

Bachelor degrees: Black Cap & Gown

Associate degrees: Burgundy Cap & Gown

Career and Workforce Education and Certificates: NFC Grey Polo

Public Safety: NFC Blue Polo

Practical Nursing: Formal White Nurse Scrubs

Regalia can be ordered here: https://forms.office.com/r/TQsLUiXTN6

Payments for graduation regalia are due no later than the deadline to apply for graduation at close of business. Please make payment to the NFC Business office in Building 2 or by phone (850)973-1610. Unpaid orders will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.
