Databases and Research

NEW for FALL 2020
Easy Access to the databases - look for the Blue Cloud icon
on the front page of the Learning Resources site or in your myNFC log in portal.

All students, including online students, should activate your library account each semester by visiting, phoning, or emailing the library to set up your borrower ID and PIN. Your borrower ID and PIN are required in order to give you access to online library resources such as eBooks and databases. Your borrower ID is usually the barcode number at the bottom of your NFC student ID and your PIN is usually the last four digits of your Social Security number. If an online student does not attend any classes on campus, the library will create a borrower ID and PIN.

Information about activating library account

If you experience any difficulty using your account, please call the library at 850-973-1624 or email at library@nfc.edu. Library accounts will remain activated for library use throughout the entire semester. If online students attend any classes on campus they must get a physical Student ID card because students are required to wear them at all times.
