APA Style was developed by social and behavioral scientists to help writers achieve clear, precise, and inclusive writing. 

Familiarize yourself with the many resources available explaining APA style writing.

IMPORTANT: When looking for tutorials, examples, and explanations, make sure they are noted as seventh edition of APA Style. There are many resources still available using the old sixth edition.
